Executive Summary

Prime For Life is primarily provided to youth who have violated school alcohol or drug policy or been convicted of alcohol- or drug-related offenses. Significant changes have been found with key attitudes, beliefs, risk perceptions, as well as behavioral intentions to abstain or reduce use. The chart (left) indicates a significant increase in the belief "If I drink as much as in the past, I could develop alcoholism" occurred with those who had three or more indicators of potential alcohol dependence.
